Bokashi is an interesting way to alternatively compost the entire range of food scraps from vegetables through meet, and even bones.

Bokashi uses an anaerobic process and produces a very acidic end product.

In theory, worms should be repelled by the acidity of bokashi, but we have heard many anecdotes of worms thriving in a worm bin that has been fed the end product of bokashi composting.

We can can recommend giving bokashi a test run on a limited basis in a worm bin.
