Try the following to ensure you don't get rats that chew into your Urban Worm Bag.
- Whenever possible, keep the Urban Worm Bag indoors with a physical barrier separating the product from wherever rats might be.
- Make sure the mixture of food waste and bedding is not "rich." In order words, keep bedding levels very high to reduce the smells emanating from the Urban Worm Bag. We suggest 2-3 x the volume of bedding to food waste to eliminate the chance of odors that would attract rats.
